For the past few months Ive been building some wobblers here and there, different variations and such. Now I would like to step it up and go with something more complex, a stirling engine. The one I am going to build is this one: http://www.bekkoame.ne.jp/~khirata/english/mk_l01.htm
The plans are in metric, but I will be converting into imperial.
Does anyone have any tips to share in regards to building a stirling engine?
The plans call for Stainless steel for the hot side, can I use 12L14? Is it possible to Silver Solder Stainless (Im trying to save on having to buy stock only to bore it out-My thinking is I could use tube and silver solder a copper cap on). I also havent machined SS before, I only have *cheap* carbide bits.
