Just signed up as a newbie. I've been a woodturner and clock maker for several years now and seeking new challenges in engine building stationary and mobile. My particular interest is the stirling engine

Hi trapper23, although i have lurked here for a while, i just joined today. Everyone seems friendly and helpful.

Welcome to the forum . while stirling engines are great and I encourge all heret o try at least one they are IMHO not a first build engine.
try a couple simple steam engines and run them on air to get your feet wet and build some skills.

Thanks for the advice Tin I appreciate it!!!

Its my intention to have a go at a mill engine. I certainly think my welding and soldering skills are not up to a hot boiler yet even though I have a lot of experience working with copper
