Sherline A2Z CNC 5400 CNC mill in Allentown PA area
I bought this little mill 10 years ago. It has seen some light use on aluminum but has mainly been used to engrave plastic name badges and signs for our HOA. A few years ago the standard Sherline control box failed so I converted it to Gecko G540 drives and added an ether-stepper to do away with the parallel port. I also converted from Linux CNC to Mach4 on Windows. I’ve since moved on to a CNC router and no longer use this one. The table and tooling plate have a few scars but otherwise it works fine.
The computer, keyboard, monitor and mouse pictured are not included.
You will need a computer and Mach4 control software to run this machine.
