Charles--I certainly agree about the rag. I kept waiting for it to get caught up in the chuck and pull him into it. I don't wear gloves myself, although many seem to do it and get away with it.

I would just advise not being quite so careless with the polishing rag and the chuck jaws as the bloke in the video. Gloves are a contentious issue too.

You can use non woven cloth safely but I prefer paper towels. Same thing with abrasives, best to use paper rather than cloth backed.
