I decided to do the governor first. With 88 parts it is a project in itself. I will be using 1144 stress proof steel, 360 brass and 932 also known as SAE 660 bearing bronze for the construction. I will be using American National Standard threads for the fasteners.
The first part is the governor spindle. With a major diameter of 1/4” and just over 1-1/2” long. It required a 1/16” hole all the way through. There will be 1/32”x1/16” bushings installed in each end.
