How and simple easy modern ways to use modern equipment with history with where else is this technology is used
Where else is the technology is used where else is the plaques ands dialis used beyond engines. Like instruments panles plaques used for engines

Just like going to a meeting waiting for it to start and sitting around the Potbelly stove on a cold winter day while waiting for the meeting to start. Talking about Engines maybe shop related or any that needs or other topics that is fun.

Plaques
1) SmithDoor plaque.jpg

1) This on Marine plywood ,
2) Embossed Leather glue to plywood
3) Aluminum itching as you see in photography remember You can make the part or have it made Not cheap on machinetools I just used the zinc itching. SMITH glue to leather
4) Foundry letters glue to leather
5) Then attached to a pattern board
6) Install gateing
7) Wax in filets
8) lacquer the board.
9) now installe flask hardware.
Now we can go to foundry and cast

This great if making more that 20 or more. I have made lost count but this type in wheels and handles well over 100,000 in over 30 years.

I like painting and sanding top off a little give a better look at the end .
Only plaques got sanding & paint.

This can be done in cast resins/epoxy to witch used on pattern boards too.

⫷⸻❋ simpler way. ❋⸻⫸

Heat transfer.
This work for Metal plates . The technology has improved over years.
I saw for pc boards.
I stead of itching off metal use plating in the copper or nickel. Makes easier the zinc itching witch I used for Nameplates in cast aluminum. This looks easier than making a pattern

READ THE FINE PRINT
and check if will right for you.
They make different types
