I started building this motorcycle engine a few months ago after finding the engine blueprint on the Internet.
I redesigned the engine in 3D adapting the drawings to my needs, while remaining faithful to the original engine

The T120 was the first motorcycle model in the Bonneville series, produced by the English company Triumph from 1959 to 1975.

That is a nice engine.
I aways admired those bikes.
There was a new 850 Bonneville in the crate at a local motorcycle shop, and it sat there for perhaps 20 or more years.
I use to go in there just to admire it.
I never asked "How much?", because if you have to ask, you can't afford it.

The Nortons were king of the hill for a long time.

This will be an interesting build.
Can't wait to see it.

I think the one at the link is a 50 cc model, apparently CNC milled, not cast.

I am not really sure what size (cc) Folktry is building, but he is using casting/foundry methods..

Which variant are you building, unit or pre-unit?
I have a pre-unit T100 from 1953. The T120 is the 650cc version of the T100.
Your photo shows a unit engine with integral gearbox, but the "ghost" image shows a pre-unit engine.
I'll be very interested to see how this project develops.

I found the drawings of the T120, this is what I will try to build...
