Has anyone had any experience with a blown MOSFET on there sieg S lathe.
There was a loose nut on mine which has contacted the MOSFET and blown it. Made a really loud noise which was front of Fet blowing off and hitting plastic cover. I have contacted seller but bit worried as I have taken it apart and put it back together and afraid it might void warranty. I also don't want to buy one as the are pretty expensive. Also replacing blown MOSFET ($2:00) is a bit risky the way they make PCB these days
Thought?..
