Old member his CNC mill

Hi gang. I have been inactive the last 8 years. My buddy that got me into this died unexpectedly on Father's days 8 years ago. I couldn't bring myself to get back in my shop. I sold my 54" Jet knee mill about 5 years ago.

I always wanted a cnc mill and picked my my new Tormach 440 yesterday in Milwaukee.

The stand is built and I am waiting on a friend with a mini fork lift to stop by and help me get the 440 on the stand.

Is it really a sin to be a bit envious? With that mill sitting on the pallet I would be hounding the friend terribly to get it one the stand and ready to work.

Haha..no not at all...

I will take several days to get ready. I am going to seal the enclosure so the flood coolant stays where it is supposed to.

I still have to run a dedicated circuit for it. Mount the power drawbar...the ARC is back ordered and is 90 days out.

I figure by Tuesday I will be making my first chips....If I figure out the fusion 360 cam. I think I am close on that.
