After resolving my prolonged lathe repair issue last year, I finally feel like I'm making some traction on this project again. Its nice to have a functioning machine,

I'm working on the crankcase internal components now, planetary gear drive & cams will be next. Hopefully if all goes well, I'll try & start at the beginning with a more logical sequence of build pictures. I began this journey by making a single cylinder assembly, so once this 'center stuff' heart of the engine is complete, it will be back to more familiar territory (times 5). Here's some shots of recent work.

There's a few crankcases in the scrap bin, but we wont talk about 'education' right now. the journey continues
