Nice looking vise. I made a set of serrated jaws like that for mine too. I also made a set of plain jaws and find that I use those most of the rime. I made a scale power arm and heavy base and find I use it often for fiddly detail work.

Nice job! I like the base.
I think I will build a mill vise next.

I was the builder for that one that sold on ebay. I was stunned to see that went for that price. I saw it a year late, someone really wanted it! I have made 14 so far up until Christmas 2024. And I have 6 in process at the moment. I really like building them. The castings have been really well made and thought out. I really liked when Dave Otto came up with some cad drawings for them. I still have yet to purchase the mill vise and make one. I would like to keep on making these, thanks Marvin for keeping doing this, hopefully more to come!
