One of my goals in life is to lean something new every day. Another good thing is to pass that info on to others.
I just happened on and interesting web site for 1/10 scale miniature lumber. http://www.ezwoodshop.com/scale-wood-kits.html
I can think of a few uses for this . You can build a mini bench for the miniature machine tools you make or use it to prove out a full size work bench project you are panning. Or build a model of the dream shop you are planning. One of the uses for model building is proving a design on a small scale before the "real" one is made.
Anyway thought it was a cool idea . At least for those of us not afraid of working with UBS(Ugly Brown Stuff -AKA wood)

Doll house builders usually work in 12:1 and they have damned near anything you could name in that scale. That is where I get the miniature red clay bricks for some of my engine bases. I even added a perfectly scaled tool box and hand tools to my Minnie traction engine. It's been fun to see how many people notice and comment on that little addition.
