How do I fix Petrobond

Did some more trials today. Results were a little better. The sand still doesn't want to stick together but better than last time. Should I try more alcohol? Is it possible to over do it with the alcohol? The sand still seems to want to stick to everything except itself.

Scoop a small bowl out and practice on that mix, I have a maybe 40# and added almost a quart, maybe could have gone more.
