- the little engine has been amusing the heck out of my colleagues at work... The FD pops into my office regularly, sits down and turns the flywheel looking at the mechanism. Seems to take his mind off work things a bit, which is a good thing. I'm really glad I went to the bit of extra bother to make that see-through cover!

;D Andrew, I have a desk till the end of this month... The bosses are a bit sad to see me go, but the new job I'm moving on to from next month is quite a big career step-up, and unfortunately they can't match it. I'll still deal with them regularly though; the IT community in Namibia is pretty small. In my new job I'll be providing highly specialised consulting and development services to a variety of companies, and due to the nature of this I'll be working on-site in restricted areas for these companies - so no more permanent desk; my car will become my office pretty much :big:.
I'm not about to stop building engines though

- in fact I really treated myself today and ordered a DRO for my mill ;D

- LOL - I never thought of the Kimble as an air powered finger engine. The pause on the rotation wasn't intentional. I'd have given myself a sound hiding with a carefully selected bit of cane if the flywheel wobbled on this build - before publicly owning up to that fact and re-making the flywheel to run true ;D

I love the engine you built. It reminds me of a musicians metronome.
I'm thinking of trying one myself but looking through the plans available on the Elmer Verburg site there seems to be a page missing (page 91?)

Since you have built the engine I'm assuming you have details of the missing page. I've tried searching the web to find it but no luck. I would be grateful if you could send me the web address of the missing page or email a copy of it.
