Cracker loco build

I'm building a Cracker Loco. Getting ready to solder the brass axle/crankshaft bushings to the .069" thick steel side frames Will this solder from Lowe's work with a maps gas torch for heat?

Short answer, No that solder is not suitable.

What’s wrong with that solder? It should work fine with some zinc chloride-based flux.

I found the solder with rosin core becomes "globby". The struff without is easier to control.
