Today I lucked out and scored some cast iron blocks 5 x 5 x 6 in with a single 1/2 hole in the middle. I found them at the local lawn mower repair center dead pile. They are front end weights used on 917-xx craftsman rear tine tillers. Each tiller has 2 and I sliced one up on my metal band saw. The metal had no voids apparent and had a thin outer crust. Thought I would let you know.
