Atlas Lathe Milling Attachment

I am selling an Atlas lathe milling attachment. Appears that it could be model # 500A. Pictures show other numbers (10-501, 10-502, and 8188, if I see it correctly) on item, but not 500A. I have never used it (obtained with a used lathe), and don't foresee a use for me in the future. Appears to move nicely on the ways. I'm asking $275. I see these for well over $300 on Ebay. Offers will be considered. I'm in Idaho

A very desirable tool in the hands of a VERY experienced craftsman

The spigot fixing restricts the use and desirability but looks( can't be sure) that it would also fit on a Myford Super7 or 7B.

Certainly is a specialty item that is waiting for the person who has specifically been looking for one.

I’ve used one of these on my SB9C for years.
You will have to build a double end male spigot, one side SB, other side Atlas. Not hard to build.
These milling attachments are well made & heavy, kinda limited in what they’ll do though.
I haven’t used it since I purchased a milling machine.

I am interested in the Milling attachment, however, it would not fit my little Enco and most likely could not make a part for it to fit. Where in Eastern Idaho? South?

In 1973, as I was first getting interested in this hobby, I purchased the Atlas lathe with this milling attachment and most of the other attachments they offered at the time. It was an excellent learning tool and quite versatile. I have since moved on to bigger equipment, but remember fondly my first time cutting metal with these machines.

When I had a Atlas 12 inch lathe it had a milling attachment, as I remember it was heavy duty and did a good job..I have moved on to South Bend lathe
and also have a milling machine, it all takes time.....
