Hey there. About to retire from 2nd job. Looking into projects to keep me busy. Just bought and then returned a HF 44991 mill. Now looking at a better starting point. Have found locally a Smithy 1220 xl combo, used, for decent price. Going to look at it tonight.

Great info here on set-ups and fixes for machines. I have to get my first one, learn how to use it and then see where it leads me. Thx for being here.

well it was outside in the shed, had rust where there was no paint and there was a problem with the gears...oh, well
