Unknown lathe attachment

I think this is to cut gears on a lathe maybe Myford. Can anyone confirm?

It has a family resemblance to a Potts-type attachment, but is not that brand.

If you measure the hole pattern on the base, that would tell you if it fitted a Myford T-slot cross-slide.

I see an involute gearcutter attached. It seems to me you can mount it on any lathe, maybe with an interface attachment.
