Anybody care to guess how the valving on this compressed air engine works? There is apparently no camshaft or valve linkage. It's really got me stymied and I'd love to know how it works...

Chuck,
I'm guessing it has a valve opened by the piston and it exhausts at the bottom of the stroke A'La 2 stroke..

I'm currently building a 5.7mm bore x 5mm stroke mini (based on an engine I found in a child's toy) that works this way.

I haven't posted on it yet but if it all works out I will. I have run it but I busted the valve gear when I overreved it.

Its a temperamental method.
