I have seen this Morton Model, I think he had a single spark plug.
A piston trip igniter, (Google Piston Trip Igniter) is what Niels seems to be asking about. That is made by a piece of tungsten on a spring type fixed post, insulated with a coil wire attached in the center of the head and a grounding post with tungsten on it, fastened to the center of the piston, so when it passes the post, it breaks connection at a set in time location to create spark at 10° advance.
