Hi everyone. Actually Ive posted a few times, mostly oggled the fantastic projects, but just kind of forgot the intro part, so here goes. My name is Peter. I live in Calgary, Alberta Canada. My main hobby outside of family/work juggling has been RC aircraft for many years; aerobatic/pattern planes, then racing, recently dabbling with heli's.
But Ive also had a strong itch to get into model engineering & metalworking for some time. I have a King 14x40 metal lathe & King RF-45 mill, slowly collecting tooling along the way. I consider myself a newbie, thus far only made, small simple gadgets & parts. But my goal now is to focus more effort into model engineering, improve my metal-working skills & eventually build a scale-ish IC engine (probably a radial). So many of the skills I see on forums like this will be both inspirational & educational. Nice to meet you all!
