Lynite is an expired trademark for an alloy, mostly (88-95%) aluminium, with most of the rest being copper. It came in several different compositions, see this link under aluminium alloys for full compositions: http://www.csudh.edu/oliver/chemdata/alloys.htm
Edit to add: I also found this composition for Lynite as a white bearing: A complex white alloy of specific gravity 2.95 and tensile strength 28,000 lbs per square inch. Composition: aluminium 88%, copper 10%, magnesium .25%, iron 1.5%.
