Model Engine Gas Tanks and Caps

Here is the fuel tank on my version of my just completed Rupnow vertical
The tank is all stainless steel 28mm dia tube 70mm long with a 2 mm wall
The ends are a light press fit with a smear of green loctite.

This is a tank I made today
It has plexiglass ends so I can see the gas level.
1.500 X 1.250 in diameter.

I like the look of that tank. What did you use to seal the ends so you don't have gas leaking out? Is the plexi a snug fit into the rabbets?

The ends are a light press fit and I added a thin coat of gasket sealer to the rim.
