I worked for a company in the middle of the USA (Collins Radio) where over the years I heard stories from other engineers that could not get a work VISA to go to Australia, and back 40 years ago limited immigration. Single guys are not wanted (can't have them marrying locals). And they are just as xenophobic as the world appears to now be morphing too. I think to get to AU, you have to live in the UK, maybe Canada.
I worked with a Vietnamese engr. that escaped via boat, got to some northern island of AU and stayed in a refugee camp for several years as a kid, before someone in Omaha NE USA, took him and family in as church supported migrants. I really liked the guy and his work, and family culture. But that was 25+ years ago.
Is there a reason you want to migrate? 15 years, you should have "bloomed where you are planted" and have a home and small family.
Can your skills be better used, designing products, that you have learned domain knowledge of, be used to employ thousands of your fellow citizens in manufacturing, management, procurement, etc. jobs?
What special 'rocket science' skills do you have that some company is looking for to hire that specific specialty? If you have that, and a company in AU absolutely can show no internal candidate (within the company, or country), and they will pay for all the VISA processing and your move, of all your belongings, and accommodate you while you find a permanent house to live in, for a long term employment for that specific reason you were hired. That is what my company had to go through to get even someone from Great Britain, here to the USA, and had to show the job opening and other candidates that did not meet the specific job requirements.
That's what you are up against to go to the AU.
I suggest you start blooming.
