Half way through the assembly of howell v4. I have two questions regarding the assembly.
1. The oil jet in back of engine is this just a 2-56 bolt screwed in with a 0.006" hole through the centre.
2. I have assembled crank centre in to engine, fitted pistons and rods. Assembled big end pins in outer crank webs. Do the big ends now just slide through the rods and slide into centre crank webs? Or is there a method of securing big end pins to centre crank webs.

Robbie, the drawing calls up a modified bolt for the oil jet, I think that I made a fitting to suit, it's been too long since I did that part so I will have to check.
The big end pins are clamped in the outer webs and once they are slid into the big ends, and into the mating inner web, they locate all by themselves without any further clamping.

Thanks for reply. I was assuming that about the crank.
I will use a bolt and modify to suit.
