Hello from Malta

I was always intrested in engennering and model engines, I spent most of my time serching for new ideas and machiening techniques... I m still young ( I m just 17 ) and I realy enjoy reading and sharing your knowleg. In fact the previous summer my parents bought me a Weiss combination lathe ( lathe with milling atachment) and some basic tools (very basic :-\ ) and as I always loved model engines I satrted with a project straight away.. I have succsesfuly built the Lynx and it worked, I have started it a few weeks ago.. Which I admit few belive..
I 'learned' machining in the few free time that I used to have at secondry school from an engineer who was very nice in sharing his knowlege. When I first showed him the project he disagreed as my first project.. and I know why!! Know I am studying plant engineering and I m happy about it. I still want to learn more on machining but I am very satisfied for waht I know
Know I want to start a new engine and quickly but first I need to organize my woorkshop, buy some tools etc...
I am very pleased that I registered on this forum and I have much to learn from youre knowlege :bow:

It's great to see young people taking an interest in model engineering as well.

Youll learn lots of interesting ways of machining, specially in the works in progress section, this is just as good, or even better than reading books on the subject.
