Well taking the son to summer camp tomorrow. The chosen route takes me within 20 miles or so of McMaster Carr so phoned in an order and plan on stopping by will call in the AM. Love it when a plan comes together!!
So other than dumpster diving , the bosses scrap pile and other scrounging what is your favorite materials supplier???
As far as catalogs Enco has to be up there for me because of price. MSC has the quickest shipping. And McMaster I can stop in on once in a while. Hate the sales tax though.

My best source for materials is eBay.
There are several vendors there selling drops and bar ends for well below
current market prices. My most recent buy was a piece of 3"O.D. X 7" long Aluminum.
Including shipping it was $14. Current market value is $34.44
