Try a non return valve in the fuel line as your tank looks lower than the needle, as the engines start to run slower the fuel can drain back into the tank between "Hits"

Also the TIM-6 is meant for 6volts, probably not causing problems with the running but may fry something over time.

You could try retarding the ignition a little which may assist the slow running, but as a hit and miss engine has no throttle control it will only slow down when the exhaust is latched out
I would move the fuel tank a bit closer to the fuel mixer, a shorter fuel supply line may help with the suction on slow running.
