Chenery Gypsy Valves

I think someone mentioned that the valves are too short per the drawings. I just had a quick look at mine and it seems the valves as specified are about 1/4" too short. Has anyone confirmed this and come up with solution?

Talked to John C his drawings show valve length 1.5" mine show 1.33 he must have corrected the print after I got my plans from him
