Better late than never

Hi I'm a machinist from Utah and have been use my iPhone to view this form. Still finding my way around on the app. Thought I better introduce myself. I am 44 years old father of six I would classify myself as a workaholic so it's hard for me to find time to pursue this hobby. I do however enjoy living through you guys. My interest in internal combustion engine started back in junior high rebuilding 5 hp Briggs & Stratton motor.
My father introduced me early on at age 14 to a small lathe in which I would make chess pieces. In high school I took all the metal courses that they offered and then after high school I started A apprenticeship as machinist.
I have a slant CNC lathe with fanuc 3 control. And Suzuka bandit mill that I am currently retroing to mach3. Both are powered by three-phase Rotor converter.
My next project will be a wood Skelton o'clock with lots of gears that I drafted back in 1996 when I was learning surfcam a cad cam program. I don't think it fits on this form but after that I have some ideas for a rotary valve 4 stroke IC with a unique twist that I hope you guys will like.

I work in North Salt Lake, shop manager (pencil pusher) of R&R Machine Service. I don't get to do hands on at work so I do my machining at home. I live in West Valley. We just had a get together Last Saturday. I will try to remember to email some photos.
