Hello Tony, I have finally got around to building one after a major illness. I am polishing the parts up at the moment but will let you know when/if I get it running. I have altered drawings to Metric as all of my tooling and small brain are metric. JC

Hello JC ,nice to know at least one person reads my work ! Thought you might like a couple of pictures of the final version of the beam engine.
Best regards Tony Wright pufango!

Finally got "Beam with a twist" running and displayed at my local model engineering open day. I am really pleased with final result and the more I run it the better it runs. I found that I had to open up a lot of joints etc to get it to run on the very low air pressure that I had at the show. This does make it look a bit "wobbly" but still looks better than sitting STILL on a bench dead!!!!!!
I was surprised at the number of people that spoke to me who were looking for a simple engine to build as a first or second project and asked for details of this design. Many thanks Tony for your design, I will try to upload some pictures in the week. JC
