The one I bought had a slight lean to one side, when you took the rotating base of it and bolted it down to the table. It was only a thou or so, but I took it to work, shoved a big plate into the big vise, took a clean up cut over the top and then dropped the el cheapo onto that. Hit the base with the big cutter and now it's dead flat true, the jaws are removable and if you want, you can make any type of new ones you need.
Trim up under the movable jaw as the original wanted to lift when tightened, you'll see as soon as you tighten it, what you got to do.
Other than that, it works OK, I got NO major bellyaches with it.
