    hi from ontario

Are you by any chance a member of the Hamilton Model Engineering Club which celebrated 25 years in October? I passed through Hamilton 2 weeks before their 25'th anniversary celebration at the waterworks, but did get to see some of the models that were there, and of course the two beautiful...

    5C/ER32 spin indexer

Thanks Bogs. I was aware of the connection from the thread about your new shop and the tooling going into it. I was just hoping that someone over here had picked it up.

    5C/ER32 spin indexer

Arc Euro has a spin indexer which also accepts er32 collets: http://www.arceurotrade.co.uk/Catalogue/Collets/5C-Fixtures Scroll down to "Stevenson's 5C Indexing Head with ER32 Nut and Adaptor" Is there a source for this in North America?

    Plumb bob

When I was in grad school, one of my friends fell horribly ill. He was hospitalized and diagnosed eventually with mercury poisoning. Because he was a grad student in Chemistry, a search was conducted in his lab for the source of the poisoning. It turned out that he was in the habit of warming up...

Thanks for that Jason - I've emailed the company for pricing and other information.

    Mill Decision

I should have said that it can be ordered with a factory DRO. The factory DRO can also be ordered as an add-on. Presumably the mill has all the attachment points machined in - but that is something I need to confirm.

    Mill Decision

I'm planning to order a mill, and these 2 seem to be on the top of the list. I had intended to go with the Craftex from Busybee http://www.busybeetools.com/products/MILLING-M%7B47%7DC-MINI-DIGITAL-READOUT-MT3.html but I'm now leaning toward the one below because it can be had with 3 axis...
