I'm planning to order a mill, and these 2 seem to be on the top of the list. I had intended to go with the Craftex from Busybee
http://www.busybeetools.com/products/MILLING-M{47}C-MINI-DIGITAL-READOUT-MT3.html

but I'm now leaning toward the one below because it can be had with 3 axis factory DRO.

Has anyone any experience with the BF20L as manufactured by Top Tech (makers of the Optimium sold in Germany)?

Have any of the Canadian members used Machine Tools Warehouse? What are they like to deal with?

Hi Woodguy
For my money i would go for the Busybeetools one, simply because
it has a MT3 spindle bore, makes tooling it up better.

But i could not see any mention of the machinetoolswarehouse one
saying it comes with factory fitted 3 axis DRO

Just my two cents worth

Best Regards

Ken

I should have said that it can be ordered with a factory DRO. The factory DRO can also be ordered as an add-on. Presumably the mill has all the attachment points machined in - but that is something I need to confirm.

Thanks for that Jason - I've emailed the company for pricing and other information.

I think you'd be happier with the Sieg XL3 from machinetoolwarehouse. The quality is much better than that of the Busy Bee machine.
