I spent 20 years with “bone-on-bone” in my right knee, got a replacement, and was able to live again! As a professional firefighter, my life was misery until that replacement, and afterwards I was a new man. Before, everyone waited for me to catch up, and now they have to try and keep up!!!

Congratulations Brian, get well quick, and don’t shortcut your physical therapy.

Wishing you a speedy recovery, Brian! I'm headed in Monday for another hip replacement. Left was done last winter, now the right. Then back to activities like bike trips again!

Glad to hear you are getting fixed (back on your feet) Brian. Did you make your own knee joint? - Or use a proprietary item? (I guess the surgeon keeps a stock of them on his shelf so gets a good discount at the medical counter in Walmart?).
You'll be walking the dog & chasing the cat next... or shovelling snow...
:D

Well, I'm up and hobbling around. Living on pain pills and soup. It's going to be a while before I'm ready to do anything more in my shop. Yes Steamchick, I could actually be shoveling snow, but that's why I have grandsons.

Gentle exercise - Good. Strenuous exercise - Probably not! So use the Grandsons! Get well properly. (I usually rush with a Strained Back so have a relapse! - Patience never was my strongpoint!).
