Just looking at your pictures in more detail. 2 things I’m wondering about.
Is it possible the copper pressure pipe is not really up to the pressure, ie stretching? Or at least acting a bit like an accumulator reducing the sudden pressure pulse. Very small diameter steel or SS capillary tube is available and might give better results.
Where dose the leakoff fuel go? Not sure how your injector is internally but I assume it is possible for fuel to get on the wrong side of the needle and lock it up? Or at least restrict its movement.
I’m quite interested to see how you go with this engine, it’s something I would like to do myself one day.
