Trade TRADE HEIGHT GAUGE FOR INTERNAL MICROMETER

I bought this new about 12 years ago for $100. It is for use with a granite surface block, but I never bought one and the height gauge has never been used . The scale is marked with imperial inch units on one side and millimeters on the other side. It registers from 0" up to 12".
I want to trade it for an internal micrometer, that will measure from 1" up to at least 3" inside diameter. Email me [email protected]

Hey Brian, what make is this? It looks like a decent one. Are there not loads of internal mics on Ebay in your area? Here in UK/Ireland there are loads of 2nd hand ones for <30£. You may even find a seller who is willing to ship to you from the UK.

Re your requirements, what sort of dimensions are you looking at measuring? 0-1", 2-8", etc?

Just a thought. Not sure what you paid for your height gauge, but just wanted to float that idea to you.

Instead of getting rid of the height gauge, why not get a decently thick piece of glass as a surface and start using the height gauge, they are much better for doing layout lines than your calipers, and more appropriate as well.
