Don't you need to grind side clearance Jason,from the tip back a degree or so.

I've only just got back here after the Downtime, I've got some catching up to do.
Over on MadModder I briefly described the completion of my QCTP for the Sieg C3. Part of the deal were Parting Toolholders, I use 0.040" and 1/16" x 1/2" wide parting blades from LMS. They are fitted in dedicated toolholders "upside down" and parting off is done in reverse. Parting off is now a simple, no drama process, where it used to be very much heart in mouth stuff.
