Hallo Model Engine friends,
Here are a new serie of photo's from the new engine parts i had to make.I hope to run my engine in Spring this year.

Great to hear from you Gerard … … don't throw out the old piston, if it is cast iron most will respond to heating to just above cherry red and dropping in oil - they usually grow 1.5 to 2 thou. If it doesn't go first time try again a bit hotter but not too much hotter. The process l then use to bring them down to size is 600 initially then either 1000 or 1200 wet and dry on a flat surface like a steel ruler. Best to do above and below the gudgeon hole to maintain round then do the gudgeon area last. If you try to do all at once it will go oval as the gudgeon hole void will allow the wet and dry to bite into that area harder .. kind regards … Ed Holly

As already written in my e.mail which i have send to you several days ago i am very thankfull for your positive contribution to me.It will help me to reach my target in the good way ending with a good running Holly Buddy 2,5 cc model diesel engine ,your advice about sudden engine parts are received in good order.At this stage the engine turns well by hand with more then enough compression to start at the right model diesel fuel.It was worth making several parts again now it all feels much better than before.Thank you very much.
