Okay guys, here is a small wobbler engine I designed to help occupy my time. I have a 3 hour break on tuesdays/thursdays/fridays, and I like to spend it in the machine shop. Here are a few renderings of it on the computer using Pro/E. I will be starting to make it this week, hopefully posting a few pics along the way while expanding my limited machining knowledge.
Although the design looks simple, I will be trying a few advanced (to me) techniques. Materials are Al 6061 and free machining brass. It will include 2 bronze bushings on the crankshaft and pivot shaft, as well as a drillrod cylinder liner.
For a size reference, the base is 1.5 inch in diameter, and the body is 2.13 inches tall.
