Richard Trevithick's Birthday

According to my google page today is Richard Trevithick's 240th Birthday. I had never heard of him but having looked on Wikipedia it turns out this man had quit a lot to do with steam engine development well worth a read.

Yes, he was quite a guy, and a Cornishman too and knew a thing or two about high pressure steam!
