Has anyone successfully interfaced the output of a cheap HF digital Caliper with an Arduino and got a usable output on the Arduino IDE serial monitor?
I have seen the Arduino/Android version, but an Android tablet is not in my budget at the moment.
I am trying to find a useable interface circuit for the Chinese scales and an Arduino Uno to build a DRO for my lathe. I have tried several versions found on the web, but all have issues and do not display anything close to what the caliper displays.
