Poppin flame engine plans?

Looking all over for the Poppin flame engine plans. Been reading many articles about these engines and this one seems to be the least fussy. I have emailed Jan Ridders for his plans but I do not think I have good enough skills yet, so would like to start with something more simple. If it works then I will try Jan's beautiful 2 cylinder version. Any help is greatly appreciated

Those are the plans I used. Use good cast iron for the cylinder and piston
