Here is what looks like a good buy and these are good lathes, even has a DI camlock chuck. I think I have seen it on a few sites now so maybe the price is not as firm as in the past.

A long way from Melbourne I know but Simon National Transport are based in that area and probably have a regular truck down and would pick up if the loading was able to be done and not way out of town. I used to send stuff to Darwin on their weekly Friday run.

Fitting is not too hard to do (I managed it) and they are not that expensive a 80mm to 100mm chuck from Hare and Forbes will get you sorted.

If it needs spindle bearings, I am an expert on the rebuild so can help you out as I have just done mine You will need a front oil seal and felt washer which I got from Smithy.

I fitted this quick change toolpost to it very easily, just needed to make a bush the right size.
