My apologies. Just had to try out a new avatar. Perhaps closer to the way I actually look rather than the cartoon I was using. I may try experimenting some more. Hey, what else I got to do when not in my machine shop? :big:

Does it scare you? I can change it if it does. :D

-Trout :big:

Edit: Can't make up my mind. Experimentation to follow...

Meow!

"M" <--- that's my cats name.

mmmmmmmmm quite an attractive chap. ;D Must score well with the ladies :big: :big:

i find the new trout scary :-\ . but i'll get used to it... ::)

Maybe that was a little too scary. *beer* I'll try something a bit less distracting.

well still a little distracting but at least cute. Certainly more in line with the board being friendly for women children and small domestic animals.

There's nothing more annoying when reading posts than some pointlessly gyrating avatar in one's peripheral vision. Your new avatar satisfies that criterion admirably.

-- Marv, master of the left-handed compliment

the other distracting thing is when folks change out there avatar weekly or monthly I tend to look at the avatar at least as much as the users moniker . I know there are reasons for changing but it is easier if they do not change. a lot.

My wife is to blame. She's got me helping her design a website for her garden club and wanted some cute, animated objects embedded in it. I went looking for free animations and found a million of 'em. Caught up in the moment, I guess. You should've seen the ones I really wanted to try out but better judgment got hold of me (slightly better judgment).

Marv, I have to say I saw that one coming and was waiting for it.

I've always been of the mind that change is good and is a must for survival so I occasionally shake things up (most things). Perhaps I'll settle on this one for now, it's a drawing I did of Jicarilla, member of the Nez Perce tribe.

-Trout

Edit: I took out that farquing emoticon because today is the tenth anniversary of 911 and I'm in a mood to please. o(^J^)o

Nice drawing trout. You did it that makes it personal . it is not distracting and it is tasteful.

I'm pleased that I didn't disappoint you. Now, wanna hear my opinion of those farquing animated emoticons?

Your new avatar is much better. I'm glad the medications helped with your hyper-activity disorder.

And remember, change is vastly over-rated. When was the last time you were pleased with a government-instituted change?

Thx Tin. I knew that first one wouldn't last but it was entertaining for as long as my beer lasted.

I remember Marv's previous comments about emoticons, thats why I knew there would be incoming.....Imagine the "big laugh" emoticon here....

Lakc, the Troutsqueeze pic was created for one of the movies I made. You can re-live all the excitement here if you want...another "grin" emoticon could go here.....(man, this habit is hard to break!)...

Just remove the asterisk if pasting into your browser. Didn't want the video to pop up in the thread.

OK, back into machine shop mode now.
