Need New Lathe(Small)

I am looking for a new small lathe 8" or so, tried to buy a Wabeco from Uk and they cancelled my order, sent me to California where the price was almost triple, am looking at southbend 8k or something of better quality, i don't mind paying for quality, but that is a bit much, any advice would be appreciated.

Taig makes a nice little, but reasonably powerful and very accurate lathe.
