Interesting. I was taught, when buying houses, to check for alignment front and rear by looking along the row of houses... checks for subsidence and walls sagging!
Free standing houses, not in a line plus intervening trees.

Just learned something else. Don't cough while taking your blood pressure. It goes off-scale!
I have been in work hops with wooden floors, where if you jumped the cut would have a flaw as the tool jumped!
Surely all decent machines and stands have jacking screws for levelling.? Hmmm, except mine....
QEI. Just proved I'm stupid, (quo est idiot?).

Sometimes I am jealous of you guys. I like independent home with a big plot. But in India if you have a 2500-3000 sq feet land for house in the city you are considered rich. There are way more people and less space in India.

There parts of America that has same thing. San Francisco with parts of bay area has lots that small. The rest of world should look at 2500-3000 sq feet per lot.
Most do not why 6,000 square foots mimum size for septic tank and lines . Places like San Francisco just dain into the ocean. Needing a 6,000 square lot is very old and has out lived the need with sewer farms.
Just try mowing 1 acre. Most look guy fun on the lawn mower it is only dear that last a few weeks. We cut the size we mowe to 850 square feet for dogs.

One of the reasons so many of us like this forum is because we can discuss other things occasionally without too much rancor. The following thread was created just so we could talk about other things, many of them useful:

Experimental Flash Steam and others

and it's not necessarily garbage.

One reasons some Yahoo groups due is because they want to on subject only. I have some talking about using a lathe for winding coils. They other thing it was a very ridge.
The lathe and coil was last straw for most goup's members. The group did make it to groups.io.
Having thread is good thing to keep up member ship.
I would more active but had help problems and keeping projects simple.
