Y'all, I have just received my flier for the 3Rd Annual Mo-Kan Model Engine Show May 19-20 2012.
This is an interesting show and a must go for anyone in the mid-west. I went last year and although the weather didn't cooperate well, the show was excellent. There were a lot of models there, and a great variety, steam and gas, and all had a great time. I was impressed by the high level of tallent and the quality of the models on display. There is a large grounds, plenty of parking, and the display area is large and covered. Last year there was air available for the steamers.
There are several reasonably priced motels in the area, not much for restaurants, but meals were available on the grounds, and of course, it's close to Kansas City where everything is available.
Check out:

Bring your models and have a good time, I'm planning to be there.
