you are right! i used my lapping ring as a holder.... but needed to de-burr the cut very carefully with a small file and make a last pass in the lapping ring. with good luck, my piston did not get damaged or distorted.... next time will make the cut before lapping...

OD work I machine and if need a light buffing with cloth.
ID machine and if need depending on cloth or small holes copper bar.

Today put cooling in my shop it getting a little warm in 30's F tonight.

I was putting cooling in be for starting chem on Thursday. In summer it get up to 110°F I want ready.

I am working on design hope finished soon.

Valentine has made engines very much smaller than my smallest so just Google him.

my engine is running!
still have some issues, but at least, it runs... starts very easy, but is hard to keep it running, seems will need a new carburator.

encouraging and perhaps frustrating. its a long time since i have seen a nylon topflite propeller. are they still manufactured in the usa/available in mexico?
